Estimate a UAE or Saudi end-of-service settlement in seconds, using the current labour-law formula. Enter a wage and a length of service.
Not asked for the UAE: since Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 the award is the same whether the employee resigns or is dismissed, so it cannot change this figure.
Both countries pay a defined number of days or months of wage per year of service, with a higher rate after five years. The details differ, and resignation is treated differently in each.
21 days of basic wage for each of the first five years, 30 days a year after that, on a 30-day month. Since 2022, resignation earns the same as an employer-ended contract once a year is complete. The total is capped at two years of wage.
Half a month of wage for each of the first five years, a full month a year after that. On employer termination the full award is paid; on resignation it is reduced by tenure, and nothing is due under two years.
The exact settlement depends on the precise wage definition, unpaid leave, and contract terms. Treat this as an example to sense-check a figure, then confirm the specifics.
The formula follows the official labour law for the selected country. Check the figure against the primary sources below.
This is an example estimate based on the inputs and the general statutory formula. It is not legal or payroll advice. Confirm any figure against the current labour law and the specific contract.
Rivane keeps wages, accruals, and settlements in one place, so an end-of-service figure is a report, not a spreadsheet.
