A Brazilian NF-e is an XML authorized by the state SEFAZ. This tool confirms the top-level required markers are present and, when a chNFe access key is found, checks its 44-digit length and mod-11 check digit so you can catch an obvious problem early.
Every NF-e carries an infNFe body with the ide identification block, emit issuer, dest recipient, one or more det line items, and ICMSTot totals. The tool checks each of these markers is present.
The chNFe access key is 44 digits with a mod-11 check digit as its 44th. When the tool finds a key, in a chNFe element or an Id="NFe..." attribute, it recomputes the check digit and reports whether it matches.
This checks for the presence of required fields, not values, CST codes, or the full SEFAZ leiaute. Use your issuer software or the SEFAZ web service for full schema conformance and authorization.
